august update

Hi everyone and wellcome to my august update.now where to begin? Managed a full two weeks without sustaining an injury, yay!!! Hope to take my black belt second dan next month and then start training to become a personal trainer. Still managing my eight miles a day and back to the gym five days a week for the last two weeks.my body must have found it's natural weight as I have not lost this month but on the upside I havnt put any weight on. I work hard to stick to the way of eating taught to me by Alex during my twelve week plan.physically I feel great however not so good news from my recent oncology appointment, most of you know I underwent major surgery two years ago unfortunately I am starting round two with the big ' c'and have a six month treatment plan ahead. As before I am not going to let this beat me with everything I have learnt in the last twelve months I am going to continue to train hard eat healthily and fight this all the way.starting with a break for me Tina and the boys then it's down to some hard work. With the help of all my family and friends i know i can kick its ass! Plus thanks to those friends and family i am in much better shape second time round to do it Will keep you all updated in September cheers for reading gaz

July update to my 12 week plan

hi everyone here is the latest monthly update to the plan

I am pleased to tell you all that the weight loss is still continuing, not as fast but still on the decrease 4and a 1/2 pounds since the last update, i am very pleased with that as i have already achieved my goal so any thing more is a complete bonus

I no longer think as if i am on a diet to me now its just a complete new eating regime and seem to know instinctively when to eat and how much i no longer need to count calories and check portion sizes etc it all seems to come naturally

Exercise wise i have had a bloody nightmare of a month  it seems at the minute i just get over one injury only to get another one and they seem to get worse each time, the good part of it is that no matter what the injury i seem to be able to work around it so that keeps me from going mad and getting frustrated,  was hoping to get back to the gym this week but my hamstring is still very tight so will give it another week or so before pushing my luck,

Headed over to Warwick to CV34 to help celebrate the studio's first birthday it was great to catch up with everyone and listen to more great success stories on Alex's famous12 week plan, and let me tell you there have been some fantastic achievements to say the least and the studio walls are filling up fast with before and after pictures of all the great successes

Another thing i have learnt to get on top of is the way i am learning to deal with trials and tribulations had a disturbing time with hospital results last week not going exactly to plan, but already feeling upbeat and going to deal with this positively and not let things get me down, its merely a set back and another hurdle to get over, could do without it but couldn't we all lol cheers Garry

ps

Didn't like not being recognised at the studio, hardly anyone noticed i was there i found i had to introduce myself to nearly everyone before they knew who i was lol i suppose i should have been flattered as it was because i had dropped nearly 2 more stone since they last saw me

june update to the plan

Hello everyone here is the latest update to my plan

As you were aware in last months update i fractured a rib and am pleased to say its on the mend finally, although i have not done any weights or attended the gym in the last month, so as you can imagine its so frustrating for me and had to change my whole routine.
I managed to start training this weekend at the black belt course and done really well considering,
I did sit out for the last half hour or so as i felt a twinge so urged on the side of caution as i wanted to attend masterclass on Sunday, and i can say i managed to finish that without to many problems so well chuffed

With every thing going on i walked 4 miles twice a day and really concentrated on the diet, and can say i still lost 5 pounds in the last month and am well chuffed as this got me past my goal, seems along time coming and in a way a little disappointing, not because I'm unhappy with the loss but because it feels like its all come to an end and what am i going to do with myself now!!

The way ahead for me now is to carry on with my daily routine and am going  back to the gym tomorrow, still not ready for heavy weights yet but will get started on the cross trainers and rowers etc

I no longer consider myself on a diet anymore but a new way of life and if the weight still drops it will be because it needs to and i figure it will find its own natural way of doing so.

Have to say i have still a keen interest in all doing the 12 week plans and am very impressed and think there will some fantastic results very soon, so a very well done to you all,
Alex your still doing the business mate keep up the good work and will hopefully get up and have that training session with you shortly all being well.

Thanks for reading and leave a comment if you can thanks Gaz

Monthly update 9th May 2011

Hi All

A month has passed since my last update so thought i would fill you in on the months events. Usual ups and downs, my weight is still coming off nicely, on average 2 pounds per week. I still manage to get to the gym on average 6 times a week and enjoy my 4 mile power walk every morning.

Still struggling with my arm and managed to sustain a fracture to my ribcage this weekend during Geoff Thompson's class on Saturday. Anyone who has ever had this type of injury will know how painful it is. I had to sit out of Master Class on Sunday and just sit and listen which was very frustrating as i like to get stuck in. Unfortunately i was hardly a able to breathe let alone anything else on Sunday.

I am not looking forward to the next few weeks, going to find it difficult to train, i manage a 4 mile power walk with Tina today even though it was slower than usual so i will have to concentrate on that for the next few weeks, might up it to 2 -3 times a day till i can get to the gym.

At the hospital this morning for an ultra sound, had a lump on my shoulder for sometime so eventually went to have it checked out, and wish i hadn't, doctors said it don't look 'good' so have to practice patience and wait to have it removed.

Tina has taken some new photos for you all to look at and she assures me they are a massive change from post 12 week plan, she may however have a hidden agenda as she loves me lol.

Well done to Alex and CV34 yesterday for their fundraising walk up Snowden, and also a huge well done to all CV34 clients and their 12 week plans i am an avid watcher of every ones plans.

Thank you all once again for taking the time to read and please feel free to leave your comments, cheers Gaz.

Latest update on the 12 week plan 4th april 2011

 Diary

Hi All, think its been over a month maybe since i last updated my blog, and what a busy few weeks its been. Its had its highs and its lows and i am still battling with my own personal demons and anxieties. Visits to the Oncologist for regular blood tests and dealing with tribunals has taken its toll HOWEVER you will all be glad to hear (especially Alex LOL) i still have the fitness bug, my wife says i am a cross between Gillian Mckeith and Alex Myers. I train seven days a week; six days a week this consists of a 4 mile power walk in the morning followed by 1.5 hr session at my local gym, this varies between CV work, weights and bag work, i have a right little routine set up. Then one day a week i just do my walking as i go over to CV34 on a Sunday morning and do a class with Louis Thompson. Also black belt and master class courses with Geoff Thompson once a month.
My food diary is still regimented i rigidly stick to 2 hourly eating, once a week i have my treat of tandoori chicken, if we go out visiting my wife packs me up with fruit/nuts so that i stick to my routine. I have lost over 1/2 stone in the last 4 weeks and another 1.5 inches from my waist, so still averaging 2lb a week weight loss.
I have thoroughly enjoyed following Louise's 12 week plan and so proud of all she has achieved and continue to follow all of CV34's clients. The 12 week plan has given me a focus which has helped me more than i can ever say, and what i have learnt continues to spur me on to continue with the results already achieved,
It seems Alex and the team are unsurpassed in there training regimes and are getting the very top results from all there clients without exception. (fantastic achievement)

Thanks all for reading and i will keep you updated of my progression in another months time.

regards and hope your all well

Garry

What a change for the best in the weather, the sun was well and truly out before 1 set out for my walk, my body was remarkably good considering the exploits of the last few days no nasty aches and pains for a change, never broke any records but did do it in a quickish time and felt good for doing so.

Managed to get up the gym this afternoon and as i hadn't been on the weights the last 2 days so i went for that option and really pushed myself doing all the big ones squats, dead lifts, bench press, and cleans, was hard going and was drenched on completion, no pain no gain as Alex would say lol

As mentioned last week tonight's blog will be the last one, for now anyway i hope to do a monthly one just to keep all of you in the picture regards to weight loss etc, so for now a massive thank you to each and everyone of you all for supporting me as long as you have, you really have no idea how its made feel knowing so many were behind me urging me on with all the comments, And it go's without saying that without Alex, of course none of this would have been possible, so Alex your an absolute star and thank you for all the work and effort you have put in, i will never forget it. Also to my beautiful wife Tina who without i don't think could have done it, she is an absolute rock and has put up with all the stuff that i never put in the blogs and believe me there was plenty of it, love you babe xx

Thank You all and o yes forgot to mention that i lost another 1 lbs and another half inch of my waist yeahhh

What a very busy day today has been!   where to start ?
Over to Warwick for the second of six self defence + course, thought at the start i was going to really struggle as just completing the warm up exercises with our mate Alex i was really tired, but very pleased to say the session seemed to get easier as it went along and i don't mean it wasn't physical enough i just seemed to get a second wind and it got me through.
Had a brief hug and a chat with Kate as i was leaving  what a fantastic lady she is a complete inspiration if ever i saw one, well done on breaking your 10 stone yes that was 10 stone loss amazing.

Only home for enough time to change clothes and a quick drink pack my bag and out to do it all again.
Back over to Coventry and the AT7 centre for the last and longest of my weekend sessions and again it was fantastic and instead of getting tired and sluggish i seemed to find another gear as was more than ready for the challenge ahead.

Really is a complete pleasure to talk to so many different knowledgeable people every which way you turn there is somebody willing to assist and teach you, fantastic to say the least, nothing is to much trouble and every body seems on the same par even though there is a complete mix of all the arts and different levels of fitness as well as a complete mixture of abilities, any one watching would not know the difference all of us felt equal

A great day, a very tiring day now its over i can sit and reflect

Thanks all Gaz

 Diary

Up and about for an early start today for the first of 3 sessions this weekend,  it was at the A T 7 centre  Coventry so not far to travel, for me anyway can you believe one of the students travels over every month from the United Amerate Emirates and would you credit it he was there before the rest of us lol

The first half of the session was drilling some take downs and grips etc very hard and very tiring any body who does any form of grappling will tell you just how physical this can be, the second half after a bit to eat and a drink was more up my street with pad work and punching again very tiring when doing it full on with being counted to punch, must have thrown a few hundred really heavy punches and i wasn't the only i blowing like an old cart horse lol

Another busy day ahead tomorrow starting in Warwick with Louis Thompson's self defence + course then a trip back to the A T 7 centre Cov for a 4 hour plus master class, phew getting tired just writing it lol

Had a chance to get a few things of my mind today with some of the very best inspirational people around so a massive thanks to all of those involved especially peter Skillen a very wise and extremely knowledgeable man.

All in all a very good day thank you all for your time

Diary

What a lousy start to the day had to get some blood tests done so decided to get them done as early as possible because i needed them doing on an empty stomach arrived at the hospital at 9.15am to be greeted with an hours delay (great) so i sat there and i sat there and i sat there after 2 hours of my worsening patience i decided to ask and was just fobbed off as usual, any way finally got done another half hour later and never got home till 12 .30pm a complete waste of a morning and i was starving, if it hadn't have been a fasting blood test it wouldn't have been so bad but all around me were eating and drinking (aahhh)

With every thing amiss i only got a 3 mile walk done but did manage a good pace and got a good sweat on

Seems like i had just sat down and it was time for the gym, never felt in the mood to go but managed to force myself, the place was packed out as i was late again so that didn't improve my mood at all, managed a half decent session and i suppose that's got to be better than not getting there at all although at the time it never felt like it, hopefully will be back to normal tomorrow and i have a very hectic weekend ahead of me with a 4 hour session in the morning then another 1&1/2 hours Sunday morning followed by a further 4&1/2 hour session in the afternoon, getting tired just thinking about it lol

Thanks all Gaz

Needed to be in Birmingham fairly early so was up and about early, so more difficult on the exercise and the diet but turned out not to bad getting better at planning etc
Still got a 3 mile walk in then later in the afternoon got to the gym.

the gym was surprisingly busy for the time of day and was forced to a change of plans wanted to set up a small circuit but with so many in there this was not really an option so i decided to do a full session on the weights starting with 5 sets  of bench press moving on to 5 sets of dead lifts and a further 5 sets of squats all the weights have been increased so still making it as hard as possible finished off with the dumb bells and some shoulder work followed by some flys and arm curls.

home and a soak in the bath was in order am already quite sore so a good soak is just what the doctor ordered.

Hopefully get to the gym earlier tomorrow and avoid the rush so i can try and do some circuits

Weather a bit better for walking this morning  well not raining anyway, managed to complete the 4 miles though it seemed loads harder today for some reason, maybe cause of the short break from that distance, really was drenched and was a good workout.

Got to the gym this afternoon and after the weights yesterday decided to do a session on just CV work, started of on the tread mill till i was soaked through then braved the dreaded stair master was really dubious about going on this as the last time i tried it through me off as i upped the speed a little to much lol, although at the time i weren't laughing, then done 10 mins on the rowing machine followed by a further 10 on the bike, then warmed down with sit ups crunches ans side crunches + leg raises etc was well and truly shattered after that lot

Home for a well deserved shower and a chillax thanks all once again for your constant support its well appreciated

What a horrible start to a very busy day set out for a walk first thing only for the heavens to open up get completely drenched and forced to cut the walk short at only 1 mile. ggrrrr
Got out a visited the grand kids etc and afterwards decided to try again with the walk, would you believe i only managed about 10 minutes and the heavens opened up again so called it a day drenched again for relatively nothing.

Decided to get to the gym after the boys got home from school, and after the complete disaster this morning i really done a good session on the weights starting with the big 3
squats, dead lifts, and bench press, then finished with sessions on the dumb bells and bar bells unlike this morning the session was a great success

With it being Monday i weighed myself and am pleased to say have lost another 2 lbs and 1/2 inch of my waist so well chuffed its nice to know i seem to be managing on my own so to speak, but to be honest i think if Alex was on my case i would have managed another couple of reps lol

Also a massive well done to Tina who also managed to lose 1&1/2 lbs and half inch of her waist, she is doing fantastic well done and keep it up.   love you honey xxx

Thank you all once again Gaz

Diary

Up and about early this morning and after breakfast a trip back to CV34 for the first in another 6 week course with Louis Thompson, was great to see some new and some not so new faces, was good to chat with Alex and Louis havent seen then in 3 weeks or so always good to catch up and was nice that they both commented on the photo,s and both also could see i was still loosing weight so that's good a real confidence booster.
The session its self was a good one with my favourite, pad work and restrictive punching its great after being restricted to eventually get back to no restrictions and feel the extra power you can make for yourself.

Had my grandsons christening this afternoon running through till 9.00 o'clock hence the late blog, it did mess with the food diary but think i coped quite well had 1 roll with some salad and a handful of nuts so when you consider what was on the menu  i done good, was also driving so was not tempted to drink any alcohol, i am one of them people that would rather have none than try and stick to a couple.
Always nice to have loads of friends and family around you and was nice to have loads of people notice the drop in weight, was the centre of attention for a while lol

Sorry its late   thanks for reading cheers Gaz

Refereed the boys playing on the wii for an hour then took a trip down the gym, left Tina to get on with it lol, well she is better than me at that!

Concentrated on planks, sit ups, push ups, dead lifts and squats at the gym.

Spent nearly all afternoon on paperwork so didn't get out for my walk, got to be done though and hoping it will all be worth the stress in the end (fingers crossed), stress levels at the minute on a scale of 1-10 are reaching 9! lol

Off over to Studio CV34 tomorrow for the first of Louis next 6 week self defense  + course early tomorrow morning, looking forward to it and meeting the new clients.

It will be the first time I've seen Alex since the end of the 12 week plan, so hoping he will be pleased with my continued work and see a difference.

Exercise Diary

4 mile walk

Diary

Really out of sorts today, not a good start, didn't want to get up, feel rubbish and ache all over. Could have quite easily gone back to bed and stayed there. Not exactly great company i could fall out with my own shadow lol.

Forced myself to go on a walk not sure whether it is because the weather is milder but sweating is an understatement, could wring my clothes out when i got back, still sweating 2 hours later when i was changed into my what should have been dry clothes.

Planned to go to the gym this evening but in all honesty can barely move took some more pain killers and had a quiet afternoon. In my head i am trying to work out why i am in so much pain today, may have overdone it yesterday, my ego got the better of me saw people smaller than me lifting heavier weights so upped my usual 70 kg to 110kg, perhaps not the wisest move lol.

Although the pictures are up and plan officially ended may keep up the blog over next few days or more lots going on in my life at the minute and writing the blog is quite therapeutic keeps things in perspective (well sometimes lol), i shall post to my facebook page as and when i update blog, thanks all for reading GAZ

Tina off work today so back to the norm went out and really enjoyed the 4 mile walk the warmer weather brings out the best of me.

Spent and hour an half in the gym this afternoon i concentrated all on weights as i had done 4 mile earlier, they were really heavy weights and i ache in parts i never thought i would ache.

Photos now up Yay! worth the wait! and i am very pleased with them i will get Louis to put them on to my blog but in the meantime you can check them out on my facebook site or Alex Myers.

Food Diary

9.30am 2 weetabix with sliced strawberries
12.00pm banana
1.30pm 2 scrambled eggs + 1 white
3.30pm banana and a plum
5.30pm protein shake and a plum
7.30pm roast chicken with a handful of pasta and sweetcorn

Exercise Diary

40 minutes on the cross trainer
1&1/2 hours at the gym

 Diary

What have we done to deserve this horrid weather, half term with bored children is no good at all, had to go to the hospital and with the mad traffic and appointments running late it was 3 hours wasted. rant over but come on, lol
managed to stay on the cross trainer for 40 minutes and really got a good sweat on to the point it was dripping on to the carpet and had to get the kids to put a towel down to soak it up eeer.
Tina had to work later today so never got to the gym till early evening, its so much more hard work at this time of day as its rammed and you have to dive in when you can, on the plus side everyone is really helpful and will assist with spotting you while doing the heavier weights and also urge you or push you to do that little bit extra a bit like having Alex over your shoulder lol.
with the gym being so busy i got to go on some more new machines its amazing what some of them do, think i might ache tomorrow in places i shouldn't i  found myself in some very precarious positions lol no wonder there not used as often as some of the others.

No news on photo's yet today but if they come through later on i will put them up

Cheers Gaz

11.30am protein shake and a plum
1.30pm chicken breast with salad in a wholemeal wrap

Exercise Diary

1 &1/2 hours at the gym
4 mile power walk

 Diary

Early gym session today as i had another busy day ahead of me and Tina had to attend meetings in the afternoon
Had a good session on the weights starting with bench press  and some various other chest exercises then some dumb bell work for the shoulders and arms etc the session flew by and was time to get home before i could blink.

managed to do a 4 mile walk early evening, hadn't done a 4 miler in a few days and really felt it, did not beat the lap record but was on a par and was drenched on completion so was very pleased.

Will be glad to see the end of this dour weather, you cant plan anything and when you have younger ones that are bored at being house bound it gets you down roll on the great British summer lol  can't come soon enough for me.

Thanks all see you tomorrow Gaz

 Diary

Busy day with one thing and another and the kids off school for a week so not as much free time on my hands to do as i would like lol
Went visiting over Leicester way so no time for my walk this morning, it was a really lousy day weather wise so was not to fussed about missing my walk although as the day went on i did feel guilty as i had eaten a good dinner and couldn't get any exercises done.

Did manage to get to the gym early evening so decided to make it a cardio session, i went on the rowing machine as the gym was really packed out, would you believe it i managed a whole hour without stopping once, i was well chuffed and think this would have burnt off any excess calories.
I then had half an hour more doing sit ups press ups and planks and was drenched by the finish, so well pleased and think i made up for the walk that never was.

Had a chat with Alex earlier and the photo's should be up on Wednesday so not long left now hopefully

Thanks again for your patience its very much appreciated  Gaz

Done a shorter walk as i was all behind,  took the canal rout and a pleasant change of scenery and did notice loads of new flowers and buds really coming out in the hedge rows a sure sign were coming into spring, and finally getting out of this very long winter thank god.

Managed to get to the gym between shopping and other Sunday chores, started tentatively on the treadmill and was pleased with my performance managed 8 minutes of light jogging without stopping so that was good, never risked any weighted exercises on the legs think that would be pushing it slightly to far.
concentrated on the core for the rest of the session and managed a great workout and was soaked through to the skin.

Thanks again everybody for your constant support the viewing figures have now surpassed 12,000 how incredible is that, i cant quite believe it

pull ups and then some triceps dips etc all n all a very good workout.

Went for a 3 mile walk early evening with Tina, never set out to break any records today although Tina did set of at a gallop again, so told her i wanted to do a good pace but not to much to make the niggle in my ham string  any worse although walking was not much of a problem, don't know if she did slow down as we managed to just about equal our previous best

Going to enjoy a night out with Tina tonight so will have a few drinks and try and chill ax for a bit

Still no news on photo's sorry

slightly pulled my leg at the gym yesterday so was a bit dubious about what to do without causing any more damage
Managed a 2 mile walk and it was a walk today never attempted to go fast or worry about breaking any records so you might say it was a stroll by my own standards.

Went to the gym after picking the boys up from school telling my self to just take it easy and not attempt to do anything to upset the leg
Had a really good session, really had a good workout concentrating on my upper body with bench presses and a load of arm and shoulder work, then on to various sit ups press ups and planks etc

Still no more word on the pictures I'm sorry to say, must have needed a lot of work doing to make them presentable lol, should get them up shortly

6.00 pm chicken breast with peanut butter
8.00 pm  Muller lite yogurt

Exercise Diary

35 minutes on the cross trainer
1 and a 1/2 hours at the gym

 Diary

Back to normality today Tina's course finished for now so had a bit of a lye over decided to up the pace on the cross trainer so set the machine on cardiac and the timer for 35 minutes, seems like the extra 5 minutes from the last time was mammoth, i really felt the difference, i got through it but i felt it, and was soaked through, i swear i should only be about 10 stone with the amount of sweating i do lol

went to the gym early afternoon time and had a really heavy session on the weights again on bench press dead lifts squats and some clean and jerks followed by some press ups sit ups, must admit its a lot harder doing stuff on your own as opposed to some one really pushing you to the max.
Was shattered at the end of the session so must be doing something right, also getting used to the equipment and have devised a circuit so things are looking fairly healthy at the minute.

Had a message from Alex to say he has seen the final photo's so shouldn't be long now i hope

Cheers Gaz

 Exercise Diary

1 and a 1/2 hours at the gym
3 mile power walk

 Diary

On the school run again this morning as Tina was still on her course in Derby, got the kids settled into school and headed for the gym, as i promised myself i started the session on the treadmill and decided to go straight for the jog as i had walked the mile or so to get there and felt sufficiently warm, was very pleased with myself as i managed 6 whole minutes without slowing it down, then a 5 minute walk and then back up again for another 6 minutes, stayed on there for 20 minutes and was soaked through, finished the morning on various free weights including bench press and dead lifts and loads of dumb bell work

Tina finished her course early'ish so decided to go for a 3  mile walk as my legs felt very stiff, never broke any records but did manage  a good workout, funny how things turn themselves around 12 weeks ago i could find any excuse not to train now i just cant, to the point of it being obsessive lol

Haven't any news on the photo's as yet but will try and catch Alex and see if there is any joy

Thanks a million Gaz

 Exercise Diary

3 mile power walk
30 minutes on the cross trainer

 Diary

What a lousy horrible day no good to man or beast roll on the summer i say
Was on the school run this morning Tina was on her course in Derby so up and about early, my legs were really sore from the weights yesterday so decided to take it a bit easier on them, had to go out so decided to walk instead of taking the car and done a good 3 miles and it weren't to bad on the legs either.
Went hospital visiting in the afternoon so never got to the gym so after picking the boys up from school decided to give the cross trainer another go, its still a novelty so had to wait my turn the boys insisted they were first lol, its funny watching the little one he can hardly reach the peddles, anyway beat yesterdays effort by 10 minutes but it was hard going and the boys taking the mick, am quite impressed with it and it must be doing some good as i was soaked through to the skin.
going to give the gym another go tomorrow will try and avoid the squats and dead lifts for another day or so might even try the treadmill, funnier things have happened you never know

Thanks all for reading wont be long now lol

Day 84 + 8 Monday 14 th February 2011

Food Diary

10.00am 2 weetabix and a sliced banana

2.00pm 2 scrambled eggs + 1 white on 1 slice wholemeal toast
4.00pm banana and a bowl of fresh pineapple
6.00pm roast beef 1/2 a roast potato 4 veg and a small amount of gravy
8.00pm handful of mixed raw nuts

 Exercise Diary

1 & 1/2 hours at the gym
20 minutes cross trainer

 Diary

After breakfast decided i needed to join the local gym, its only a 20 minute walk from my house so may as well give it a whirl.
So the morning exercise was mainly on the free weights , bench press, dead lifts, squats etc, had a good work out and got a real sweat on.
It was strange to say the least but any thing different to the norm always is so will persevere for a while sure it will work out OK

Thought i might have over done the legs as they were well sore so  i opted to do a 20 minute program on the cross trainer, think i may have been better off doing my 4 mile walk, it was really hard work, may be because I'm not used to it as we only got it at the weekend, again i managed to have a really good work out so well pleased.

Photo's should be ready foe Wednesday all being well, will put them up as soon as i get them

I only lost a lb this week but was weighed on a different set of scales so cant be sure of the accuracy i also lost a half inch of my waist so pleased with that, the new scales don't do any body fat etc so don't know any more stats.

thanks again for your patience  Gaz

4 mile power walk

Diary

Early start today over in Warwick for the last of a six week course with Louis Thompson
Great day with everyone getting there well deserved certificates and was all treated to a chat from Geoff Thompson, when you have inspirational people around you it seems to bring the very best out of you.
Done a work out on some very restrictive punching but watching and just listening to the thuds of hands hitting pads, i can tell you, you would not have know there was any restrictions at all, some awesome power and all in 6 weeks incredible.

Got the chance of a walk with Tina this afternoon as the eldest lad was here to look after the younger ones,
Think Tina thought there was a prize for getting the fastest time on the 4 mile trek, i was really blowing and the only thing that kept me going at the same pace was male pride, couldn't possible give up could i?
Anyway you will guess that we shaved a full 3 minutes of the record or rather Tina did lol
Think Tina is feeling it now though had a soak in the bath and is still walking like John Wayne, gonna ache tomorrow but serves her right lol. i know i will be aching so think it only fair I'm not on my own.

Thanks all speak tomorrow Gaz

4 mile power walk

Diary

Got a nice lye in this morning think i must have needed it as i never heard a thing till just before 10 lol
Didn't feel as blocked up and the sore throat was better, touch wood, so after breakfast went for the first of 2 walks, took the lad with me as he was bored so i let him ride his bike forgetting it would probably be to far for him, and that was to be the case bless him he was struggling, so decided to call it a 3 mile walk, how well did he do he's only 7 and to complete 3 miles is great in my book.

Had 2 of the grand daughters most of the day so had my ears well and truly chewed off think i can still hear them now lol, went for my second walk as Tina returned the girls home, managed to complete the 4 mile circuit this time but it was a struggle i don't mind telling you, must be the cold although i think the signs are looking good on that front.

Over to Warwick in the morning for my self defence course with Louis Thompson so will have a chat with Alex and see when the photo's will be ready, will keep you informed as and when i can

Cheers Garry

Went for a walk first thing and struggled the whole route, glad i done it as it seemed to pick me up for a couple of hours.
Things went down hill again later on so forced myself out to do another walk, again i struggled and again I'm glad i done it got a real sweat on and after a shower felt better.

Sorry still no news on the photo's must be hard work to make them look good  (pmsl)

Well i never got my own way and got up this morning absolutely full of it sore throat cough runny nose ( man flu lol ), wishful thinking yesterday! still managed to do do a 4 mile walk although it took me nearly 5 minutes longer, however i still managed to get a really good sweat on in the hope i can shift this cold doubt it though the whole house is coming down with it.

The rain really came down this afternoon so decided to do a work out in the garage, got myself warmed up with 5 rounds of bag work then done the rest of the workout on the weights, apart from 8 sets of dead lifts the rest was on the dumb bells.
Again managed a really good session and sweated like a good one, cant have any of my cold left surely lol

Went over to the studio for my before and after photo shoot, a model i most definitely am not although was made very welcome and soon relaxed and even quite enjoyed it, will put the pictures up when there ready so please be patient  its out of my hands lol

 Diary

Woke this morning nose blocked sore throat etc, felt really sorry for myself lol, had a busy day ahead so never went for a walk this morning, got done what needed doing and then feeling a little better than i did this morning decided to get out there and do a walk had Tina for company again and again she decided to really push the pace so was blowing quite quickly, but it was on my mind that i never got out this morning so i decided to carry on after the 3 miles and do an extra mile, Tina stopped at 3 because the boys needed picking up from school, soon regretted it though i was really struggling don't know why its not like I'm not used to it, guess it must be the cold i seem to be getting, hopefully though i might have sweat ed it out as i was dripping when i got home to the point i had to hang my t shirt on the washing line, so fingers crossed that i have nipped it in the bud.

Had a quick look at the stats for the blog and was gob smacked with over 20 different countries looking in and will surpass 11, 000 views before the weekend, quite incredible they say everybody has there moment of fame i think mine has happened now lol

If the plan stays the same will get some photo,s up shortly.

Quit a contrast in the weather today went out early ish for a 4 mile walk and it was absolutely bitter cold a heavy frost yet again and really slippy in places so stuck to the main road route as opposed to the canal one, still managed to get a really good time and was soaked through with sweat even though the weather was so cold.

Was joined on my second walk  by Tina as she had the afternoon off, and would you believe the sun had took its hat off, and was very pleasant to say the least, this walk was 3 miles only so thought it would be easier but with the weather being so nice and being dressed for the cold we were both sweating like crazy after the first mile, again never broke the lap record but did just about equal it, so very pleased

Will keep it short as you have all been fantastic and very patient, so see you all again tomorrow

 Exercise Diary

4 mile power walk
1 hour session at the studio
3 mile power walk

 Diary

Up and about early again this am and braved a 4 mile walk with the wind blowing like a hurricane lol, at least it stayed dry, the walk was a killer so much harder with the wind this strong, so no records broke today but a good sweat worked up.

Over to the studio for my session with Alex and of course the weigh in and the results of the 12 week plan
I am delighted to say i lost another 2 and a 1/2 pounds plus 1/2 inch off my waist my body fat was down again and my muscle mass was increased too + hydration levels up and visceral fat down, so as you might expect am on a bit of a high.

I will post the charts of all the figures up as and when i get them hopefully in the next few days. But in a nut shell the main points are that i lost a total of 2 stone and 3lbs i also lost a massive 7 inches of my waist and every thing else is down that should be body fat and visceral fat and what should be up was up hydration and muscle mass.
The target was 2lbs a week or 2 stone to lose without loosing any muscle mass and as you can see this was all achieved. Delighted to say the least.

I feel i need to say a few thank yous at this point but there are loads to many to mention  individually so will just do a few number one is of course Alex Myers whom without the plan would not of been possible, his fantastic knowledge and inspiration has got me where i am today, and i will be forever indebted to him but will start by paying him in the best possible way by carrying on and getting my weight and fitness levels even better he has given me the tools and the knowledge and the motivation to get the very best, for myself.
Also to my beautiful wife for her constant support throughout the 12 weeks doing everything in her powers to assist me from cooking the right foods going out walking in all weathers nursing me listening to all my tales of woe and there have been loads she has been an absolute rock and love her dearly

And lastly to each and everyone of you that have supported me in reading and commenting on the blog you don't know how much it meant and how much i needed it to keep me going

My before and after photo's will be done on Thursday evening this is the first opportunity we can all get together so will do a short blog till then to keep you all in the loop.

Be well Gaz

Exercise Diary

4 hour session at Geoff thompson's black belt course

 Diary

Up early again for the start of whats going to be a marathon weekend, exercise wise that is, was at the At7 centre before 9 so no time to go out walking, and looking at the terrible weather i was glad i never

The session this morning was all about grappling and fighting on the floor, for those of you that don't know about this sport i must tell you its the most physically demanding of all the arts and you get so so tired and very quickly to say the least so 4 hours worth is a real test of courage and endurance.

I must say i coped quite well and although exhausted at times i feel my recovery rate was on a par with the best of them and that's including the younger ones, this is the first time i have noticed this and felt better for it, don't get me wrong it was a really tiring session but everyone was in the same boat.

Going for a soak in the tub as the aches and pains are already starting to kick in and have a proper grueller to come with 2 sessions back to back tomorrow

Remember to say a prayer for me tonight on anticipation of tomorrow lol

Diary

Be glad to see the back of this winter it seems never ending and a nightmare for walking lol, had Tina for company this morning so new i would have a job keeping up she always kicks off with a really quick pace and true to form off she sped my legs and particularly my calves were aching after about 5 minutes so new i would struggle and i did for about 2 miles then the aches seemed to ease so thought i would get some revenge  and do 4 miles as opposed to the 3 we set out to do, must admit i regretted it after a bit the wind was vicious and full on in your face blowing dust and all sorts at us, even with the conditions we still knocked a further 2 minutes of the fastest time so well pleased

Over to the studio for what i knew with it being the last week a real beastin and true to form i had a work out and a half, all weights have been increased as well as the reps and sets don't mind admitting i was blowing like a cart horse on 40 fags a day, think i will truly ache tomorrow and i have a megga weekend ahead of me with 3 hours Saturday and at least 7 hours Sunday so be kind and say a little prayer for me lol

Catch you all tomorrow

1 hour session in CV6 (the garage)

Diary

Busy day today loads to do and all at awkward times making eating and exercising more difficult to juggle but as the day unfolded it never turned out that bad and managed quite well even if i do say so myself.
Went earlier for my walk weather still lousy but at least it stopped raining and was not as cold as previous days, again never broke any records but did it a fair time and got a sweat on for England.

Managed to get in the garage for an hour in between errands and done the whole hour on the weights and really pushed myself, think even Alex wouldn't have got any more out of me than i managed myself, so another sign that i.m improving and getting stronger mentally as well as physically.

Cant quite believe the week is nearly done and the plan is coming to the end it seems to have flown past for me anyway, don't know about you lot having to read the daily blog and leaving comments etc, will leave word shortly as to when the final weigh in will be and the final photo's think it will be early next week so will get them up as soon as they come to me

Up and about early again had to be at hospital before 10, these places can get you down very easily if you let them, i specifically ask the receptionist to check if i needed an x ray as i didn't want to sit there for an hour then get sent for one, I've looked and no you had one last time was the reply, are you sure says i, yes have double checked, any way to cut a very long story short finally got my name called and was greeted by the doctor with can you pop along to x ray for me please, (aaarrrrr) pointless arguing but little things do wind me up more than some big ones.
Doctor a little concerned as to the progress or rather the lack of progress to the very slow healing, anyway i didn't have the heart to tell him i was perhaps overdoing it a little just acted dumb just as he did when querying the x ray lol.

Threw the whole day out for me, but have still managed to get in 2 x 4 mile power walks as i know i need to try and up the cv work this being the final week of the plan, not ideal walking conditions again the morning walk was a wet and windy one and the late afternoon walk was blowing a gale and seemed to be in my face the whole time  2 very respectable times all the same, no records broke though, only seem to manage that when Tina is taking charge lol

Another short one hope you enjoy if so say so lol

Out and about early again this morning chucking with rain but not as cold, Tina was off for the morning and decided to do the first of my walks with me, glad she never came on the second she set off like a bat out of hell and me like an idiot tried to stay with her, both my lower legs were killing me after only 5 minutes think its a build up of lactic acid, but carried on regardless it was the longest 3 mile walk ever and never enjoyed it at all, did manage to shave a remarkable 3minutes of our best time but didn't i know it, Tina seemed to just take it in her stride (AHHH)  i was drenched through to the skin and so was Tina.

Went on the second walk really to see if i could straighten my head out, seems i still haven't learnt to stop letting people wind me up, managed to stay out for 4 very hard miles but to be honest never helped with my mood, did get soaked through with sweat so it weren't all in vain.

Off to fracture clinic in the morning and will hopefully be discharged but you never can be sure and still get rough days so best be on the safe side

A nice short one today take care

Up and about fairly early again this morning busy day ahead of me, it was absolutely freezing and although very picturesque again not ideal for walking, it really was a death trap in places.
managed to complete 4 miles in a very reasonable time and still got a really good sweat on despite the arctic conditions

Over to Warwick for a session and the dreaded weigh in, not bad again managed to loose 2 pounds and loose half an inch of my waist also lost body fat and gained muscle mass and my hydration up too so all in all sound results, and again Alex was chuffed so everyone happy lol
Still wondering how my muscle mass is still improving as opposed to staying the same will have to do a little more reading this is a massive subject to understand completely but i am getting there.

One of my favourite sayings and it happens to be from my very own brother Geoff Thompson hope you all like it too.

I love being overwhelmed even out of my depth, i have become comfortable in discomfort, because discomfort is a sign that I'm growing

Busy busy day up and about early and over to Warwick for the 4Th of 6 in Louis Thompson's self defence course.
And must say its getting better and better and can see massive improvements in each and every one of us it really is coming together nicely and there will be some very heavy hitters as well as all rounders  in the next two weeks. Keep going all.

Had the chance this afternoon to get out with Tina for what was to be a record breaking ( for us that is ) 3 mile power walk, again i let Tina dictate the pace and at times wish i hadn't as i was really blowing and almost had to break into a jog just to keep up, can not believe how Tina in such a short time can improve so much even if she did knacker me out.

Out for a well deserved pint tonight (well 4 actually) first drink in 2 weeks so looking forward to it, although tomorrow is the dreaded weigh in so a little dubious as to whether having a drink tonight will have any effect on the weigh in, i hope not as its a once a week treat.

Had the chance today to do a bit of talking  to a class of people on the subject of self defence and colour coding in particular, a first for me and some thing that i feel loads better for doing, and it was very gratifying  as well as nerve racking, think it went OK, the fact no one fell asleep was encouraging.

Please feel free to have your say

Had a lie in this morning, fell back off to sleep in the early hours and went into a deep sleep, felt like i had had 10 beers last night, but i can assure you i didn't.( had none)

Granddaughter's were good as gold, Lacey only woke up once at 4.30 and went straight back to sleep. Thought i would let Tina have the pleasure of getting up with them all at 7.30am and glad i did the lounge resembled 'Beirut' when i came down lol, we don't call Lacey the demolition derby for nothing! (lol)

Left the chaos and went out for my first power walk this morning, only intended to do 3 miles but stayed out for the 4 he he!! (method in my madness), it was flipping freezing brass monkeys though.

Went out for a second walk this evening i was going to give it a miss i have been promising myself a day off but i felt guilty and am conscious i am coming to the end of my plan so want to give it my all, think Alex feels the same if yesterdays session and today's aches and pains are anything to go by.

Going to have a quiet night now, get the boys to bed, got an early start tomorrow as over Warwick with Louis for the fourth of his 6 week self defence course, really looking forward to it, love it when you start getting great results from the beginners as well as the experienced, bring it on.

Thanks all see you tomorrow

Freezing cold again but no rest for the wicked as they say, set off for my first walk with an air of apprehension the frost was really thick and very slippy, again not the best conditions for walking, managed to stay on my feet and complete 4 miles and even in the extreme cold managed to get a real sweat on.

As my session with Alex was not till tea time i decided after a couple of hours twiddling my thumbs with boredom to go on a stroll as opposed to a power walk, funny how things don't always go to plan, was still bloody freezing so the walk gained pace just to keep me warm more than anything else, completed 3 miles in a very respectable time so well happy

Over to the studio for what was to be another beastin, without repeating myself again this was the most demanding session to date again the anti was well and truly upped and i really did struggle and i mean struggle weights increased again reps increased again less time between sets etc need i go on? pleased to report i'm still here to tell the story lol

Picked 2 of the granddaughters up on the way home for a sleepover, Tina child proofed the house so let the fun begin, already had my ears chewed off and that was just the journey home lol.
will update you tomorrow as to the outcome of this, lol can't wait.

Started today much the same as yesterday really, still not right think i might becoming down with something, hope its nothing sinister lol
Today i said i would have a day off just to rule out over training but felt really guilty as well as getting really bored so off i went and started off tentatively to give my calves a good stretch, and it really seemed to work wonders i carried on and slowly increased the pace and completed 4 miles and felt loads better for doing it, never broke any records but that wasn't the aim.

Again felt really guilty having had lunch and picked the boys from school, so went out again this time only 3 miles but glad to report i done it in a good pace again no records broken but the calves never gave me any trouble either so well chuffed.

Have got to grips with the food diary, apart from wondering what to have now and again and am finding it really easy, the fact I'm eating every couple of hours really makes it easy to remember to eat, i started off with a pad and a pen but it just comes completely natural now and hardly have to think about it, this will make it so much easier to maintain.

A nice short one today so thanks for reading and don't forget to say your peace lol

Woke this morning feeling pretty grotty couldn't put my finger as to what was wrong, a bit like a hangover  but havent had a drink!!!
Thought a fast walk would blow away a few cobwebs so off i went even as i was nearing an end to 3 miles still hadn't managed to shake it off so i thought carry on its only a matter time before i get better, it never did so 4 miles completed and still felt odd.

Went over to the studio for my session with Alex still not feeling great but it needed to be done, did have a chat with Alex before the session looking for  a bit of sympathy i suppose, what ever i never got any lol and proceeded to what was to be a proper beastin, i did the session but i think most of it was auto pilot the anti has been well and truly upped and don't i know it.

I know at the end of the day i am here to get fit and loose weight, and of course its working, i just didn't realise in my wildest dreams it would be so physically demanding, i'm getting fitter and fitter with every session and its getting no easier lol.
In saying all this if it was easy i wouldn't be here in the first place.
So again my hat go's of to Alex for his relentless persistence in keeping me motivated even when I'm having an off day, cheers mate

What a horrid start to the day walking in smog and the rain with a head wind, not ideal for walking but its got to be done.
Had Tina for company again this morning and yet again she lead the pace for much of the way but as i said the conditions were not the best and we were both blowing like good uns lol
Did manage to shave another 2 minutes of the time so with the lousy conditions that was an achievement to say the least

Decided against another walk today as the weather was still lousy so up to the garage for an hour or so.
Started of with 5 x 2 minutes rounds on the punch bag and started using the left arm a little more, still very apprehensive as it was a little sore at times but got through it without any set backs, this really got the sweat going then on to some weights various sets of 12 with 30 second breaks, had a great workout and always feel pleased with myself when I'm done.

Thanks again all for reading not long left now ha ha.

Slightly late start this morning never slept well at all then didn't want to get up lol ain't it always the way?
Set out for a 3 mile walk with the company of Tina and boy Tina was well up for it setting a really quick pace that i really struggled to keep up with, my calves were really tight and took at least 20 minutes to get them working , with the last 5 minutes of the walk i was feeling loads better so opted to make it a 4 mile walk, don't think after setting such a good pace earlier on Tina was in the mood to carry on, but as always she impressed me again not only finishing the 4 miles but again kept the pace going, a real workout for us both.

Over to the studio for the much dreaded weigh in, i really don't understand how a little thing like standing on a set of scales once a week can be such a problem, but i can assure you it is and its one of the most stressful things i have to do. (stupid or what)

Well the news was all good thankfully, lost about three and a half pounds lost half inch of my waist lost body fat and gained in muscle mass also hydration up so all in all a very good result, Again Alex is pleased so that's a real result

Thought with Alex being on a high it might carry over into my session, you guessed it not a chance proceeded to have my hardest session to date, what a massive difference having you rest times reduced to 30 seconds, feels like i.m still blowing from i set and the next is starting, will i ever get used to this i ask myself, ha ha

There's 5 new pictures on my profile have a look think there starting to show now.

Up and about early this morning in preparation for my trip over to Warwick for the 3rd of 6 sessions of a great course run by Louis Thompson, already in just 3 weeks can see a great difference in mine and everybody else's punching power, would have to be seen to be believed, going to be some gifted punchers by the time week 6 arrives.... keep up the hard work all involved

Because i trained early this morning i decided to go and try work off a delicious roast dinner with a 3 mile power walk, don't know if it was the 1 roast potato but the walk was particularly hard never managed to knock any time off the previous times in fact it took 3 minutes longer !!!!

Back over to Warwick tomorrow lunch for the dreaded weigh in, have had a great week just hope the the results show this, had a number of people comment this week as to the fact its now starting to show and this is very encouraging to say the least as you don't always feel it yourself,

Still managed to get a quick 2 mile in though. Food diary a bit problematic today as out and about but managed to find a deli for my lunch. (all healthy)

Back in time to attend my session with Alex and as expected with only a few weeks of the plan left an hour of heavy weights high reps and blood and guts lol.

Very pleased with myself as the days work out was mainly legs ie squats, dead lifts, followed by clean and jerks. Really got the heart pumping as i was doing 5 sets of 15 reps as opposed to 12, don't sound much but the extra 3 reps on every set soon gets the muscles aching.

Still haven't managed to finish a session with a dry spot on my tee shirt and don't expect i will either, but looking back the amount of work I'm getting through is beyond my wildest dreams i believe I'm really getting there with my fitness so that's half the battle done.  Thanks Alex

Feel more like my old self again today had a long chat with my big brother Geoff, amazes me where he gets all his vast amount of knowledge and know matter what the problem there is always words of wisdom to make you turn it all around and deal with it thanks Bro.

Was like turning the clock back a month this morning the streets and roads were thick with frost again and pretty slippy, makes walking a bloody nightmare.

Have decided after my walk come trot this morning not to risk getting any further injuries and get through the last few weeks of the plan, after about 2 minutes of jogging i felt my calve pull, not enough to stop me but enough to make me think, carried on to complete a 4 mile power walk and will keep walking till I've completed the plan then try and build it up again when it wont matter as much preferably on a treadmill till i pick the pace up.

This is not a excuse its more common sense this far into my plan, would hate having to not even to be able to walk, as up till now has really been beneficial to my overall fitness as i could hardly walk to the bus stop prior to this.

Done another 4 miles late afternoon, having to take it in turns with Tina looking after the boys while  we go about our separate walks as its to far for them to tag along. easier at the weekends when we have child care, it always nice to have a partner with you, you can push each other on.

Thanks for reading and sticking with me.

Predictably Alex upped the anti today with another right gruelled!  Suppose i should have expected it after reading his status re: 'heart attack hill' lol.

Numerous sets of planks sets of 2 , 2 and 1, also sit ups, press ups and burpees, going 6 minutes without a break now!! Finished off with a course of circuits. Very weary when i arrived home.

Spent the afternoon reading, currently re reading Geoff Thompson's 'Dead or Alive', its a brilliant read and i cant recommend it enough.

Feel really out of sorts today there is no specific reason that i can think off just an off day and then every thing seems worse than it really is, get well mardy when so called professional people cant be bothered to do there jobs properly, and then give you grief when you tell them. sorry. Rant over for now.

Set off again with expectations of a walk come run, again it never really happened as my calve twinged almost as soon as i started jogging, so gave it up as a bad idea,
stayed out on the walk and felt guilty again so made it up and done an extra mile although i don't think I've done myself any favours as the calve is well aching.

Decided another walk was out of the question so put a good hour in the garage and eased a load of pent up frustrations 5 two minute rounds on the punch bag will do that for you every time, if you have never tried i would highly recommend it to everyone, then done a good variety of weights mostly a high rep workout.

That's it for today hopefully be in a better mood tomorrow

Sorry all .

My legs still giving me some grief from the session on Friday would you believe so not going to go for a walk today but Tina really wanted to go although she is doing a great John Wayne impression herself lol, so off we went with the full intention of beating our time and even try some light jogging, this was not to be both of us really struggled the weather didn't help constant rain the whole time with a good breeze in the face to go along with it, at least we made it home in one piece and equalled our best time so really pleased.

Boy where to start today, must have taken me 5 minutes just to get out of bed, stiff was not the word to describe the aches and pains in my legs and lower back this morning think i well and truly overdone it yesterday on the weights and its come back to bite me on the arse.

After some breakfast and a sit down for an hour i braved a walk to Asda the wife drove the kids and i met them there, what a walk that was it was blowing a gale and in my face most of the way, was taking two steps forward and one step back (without a drink) this didn't help walking like I'd just got of a horse lol.

Had the pleasure of Tina joining me on my late walk as the eldest was home and looked after the boys, massively impressed with her and how great she done the walk again more than matching me for pace, only been doing it a week and lost a pound and a half +2 inches of her waist BRILLIANT

Hope i can move a little better tomorrow for the second of six self defence courses first thing tomorrow morning.

Exercise Diary

3 mile power walk
1 hour session at studio CV34 with Alex

 Diary

Up and about early this morning Tina had an early start in Derby so was on the dreaded school run with the boys.

Decided i would try and improve on yesterdays walk come jog, done the same 3 mile walk as usual except i done it the other way round as i was at the school anyway so of i went, it took about 15 Min's or so for my calves to get warm and stop aching so started a light jog and it went on for 2 minutes, then regained my breath and followed it with another 2 minute jog, so double yesterdays effort, you never know  i might get to like this jogging, only joking am still way to heavy for running but you never know hey.

Over to the studio for my session with Alex and my legs were already starting to feel like jelly after the last 2 days, and i bet you've guessed it another day on the weights and another heavy leg session starting with 5  sets of 15 squatting 60k followed by more legs the same weight and sets of 15 deadlifts ( very aptly named) then another 5 sets of 15 clean and jerks less weight this time but still a killer was blowing like a cart horse with asthma, then the usual heavy bench press and close arm curls 100k an absolute grueler, think Alex is on a mission today and god help the rest of his clients

thanks all Gaz

Diary

Set out for my walk this morning with high expectations of myself was going to try and walk for ten minutes then run for one minute for the duration of the walk however it never panned out that way for a couple of reasons the main one was that my calf muscles were really tight and going on past experience this normally results in tearing the muscle, so opted to maintain the walk until such time as they were warmed up enough to risk a light jog, this seemed to work a little as i managed to do 2 one minute jogs on the trip so not as i wanted but something to build on and ended up doing a four mile walk instead of a three mile.

Wife was on a course today so had the boys this afternoon. Decided to do an hour in the garage on Tina's return mainly doing weights and some bag work to make sure i got a good sweat going then some sit ups and press ups etc.

A nice short one today thanks for your continued support its very much appreciated

Another very good saying from my beautiful niece

You have to fall from the mountain to realise what you are climbing for. obstacles are placed in our way to see if what we want is really worth fighting for
